Please join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Dr. Jennie Crews for a free virtual education program for patients and their families.

Telehealth provides patients with blood cancers access to their doctors and care team from the comfort of home without spending the time, money, or energy traveling to the clinic or sitting in a waiting room. It is normal for patients and their family members to have concerns about telehealth and not know how to prepare. This program will help participants understand the uses of telehealth, what to expect, and how to make the most of a telehealth visit. Topics will include:

-What is telehealth vs telemedicine?
-The impact of COVID-19 and future of telehealth
-Uses for telehealth in cancer care
-Benefits and disadvantages of telehealth
-Understanding your telehealth visit options and how to prepare
