In Tirol it is a must to extend your business trip. Here are some suggestions from the Local Host Committee.
Explore Innsbruck and the region around Tirol’s capital
If you would like to go on an adventure in and around Innsbruck, by yourself or with your (new) mountain companions here are some walks to explore or please have a look at this hiking map. Our recommendation is to visit the Alpenzoo Innsbruck and the Bergisel ski jump.
The majestic city Kufstein with its fortress
Kufstein is located by the river Inn and offers a few highlights for a day visit. At the Kufstein Fortress the era of knights is brought back to life. It is one of the most significant historical monuments in Tirol. At the world-famous company Riedel Glas you can look over the shoulder of glassmakers and dive into the world of glass art in the interactive museum "SINNfonie". Or you might just want to stroll through the city to enjoy leaving the hustle and bustle.
