LEARNING OBJECTIVES


At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Utilize and incorporate the systems in place to best incorporate and individualize treatment options for patients with morbid obesity to improve patient care
  • Identify those patients needing more than traditional techniques for breast reconstruction and appropriately implement needed techniques and options to attain the most optimum reconstruction possible with microsurgical techniques
  • Categorize and utilize the best evolving and proven options for improving and optimizing implant-based breast reconstruction
  • Reassess techniques used for complex abdominal wall reconstruction and incorporate and utilize those options that have been proven most effective
  • Categorize lower extremity and limb salvage situations to best incorporate the best options for flap reconstruction to increase patient outcome
