LEARNING OBJECTIVES


At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Gain a better understanding of the optometrist’s role in assessing patients for retinal conditions and proper referral and co-management strategies for these patients
  • To reinforce knowledge of standard of care within the profession and optimize care delivery and co-management
  • Gain a better understanding of diagnosis, treatment, and management of retinal disease by using a grand rounds format highlighting common retinal pathology seen in a primary care optometry setting
