Can I enter more than one award category?

Yes! You must enter a regional category first, and then you can enter up to TWO business categories of your choice.  

Do I have to pay for entering my business? 

No - the awards are free to enter! 

How do I enter? 

It's easy! The system is all online, all you need is about 45 minutes of your time and a few financial details and you are ready to enter. Simply click the big gold 'Enter' button below or above and off you go!   

Are the Awards happening in 2020? 

Unfortunately given the current environment with Covid-19 we have decided to cancel the awards for 2020.  We will be back in 2021! 

How do I know if my business is eligible to enter?

An entry must be a business owned by wahine of Māori descent (sole or joint ownership accepted) that has been operating for more than 12 months, with the exception of the Social Enterprise category.  
Entries into the Social Enterprise category must be organisations established and/or managed by wahine of Māori descent, with the majority of the organisation’s workforce being of Māori descent, and must have been operating for more than 2 years.

Can I nominate another business? 

This is a new function we plan on includin in the 2021 awards programme - watch this space for more announcements in the new year.  

Do I get awards night tickets when I enter my business?

Not quite.  All finalists will receive 1x free ticket to attend the awards night.  If you are not a finalist then you will need to purchase a ticket to the awards evening which you can do via this website.

What are the deadlines for award entries? 

Deadlines and dates have yet to be set for the 2021 Awards season.    

How do I know which category to enter?

Once you have completed your regional award category you then have a selection of 7 business award categories.  If you can't immediately identify which category best suits you then we are here to help - give us a call!
