OVERVIEW

Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)–associated vasculitis (AAV) is a rare condition that affects several organ systems, has a high rate of mortality, and involves clinicians from several specialties. Current options for treatment are limited with significant safety issues and high relapse rate. It is important for clinicians to understand the therapeutic goals for treating AAV, including induction and maintenance of remission, as well as treatment of relapse. This live 60-minute interactive, CME-certified virtual symposium is an ACR Education Partner Program and will provide clinicians with expert insight on current standard of care, induction and maintenance of remission, and efficacy and safety data for emerging therapeutic approaches. As a bonus feature, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with faculty on a 1:1 basis to address case-based questions in virtual breakout rooms post-symposium.
