The Vendorama is to provide you, the Vendor, time in a small room setting to present technical material to stimulate user interest in your products or services so the user can then visit your "Vendor Fair" table and have a sales conversation.
The "Vendorama" presentation subjects must be technical in nature and not sales oriented. The Users will be asked to critique all Vendor presentations and those who speak too much "sales" may not be asked to present in the future, at the Users request.
There will be more than one (1) presentation going on simultaneously and each User will decide which presentation he/she would like to attend. This underlines the importance of your abstract and getting it to the board on time. Your abstract is published for all users to see, if we do not receive your abstract in a timely manner, no one will know what you are presenting and likely the attendance will not be what you expect. That said most Users determine which vendorama slot they will attend based on 1) the abstract presented and 2) their potential need or curiosity. If you have questions about drafting a captivating abstract feel free to reach out to any of the Board members and we will be glad to assist you.
The "Vendorama" will have 35 slots allotted by the Board of Directors beginning at 9:25 am on Monday, February 21st and ending promptly at 3:45 pm. Slots will be 30 minutes in length, max of two slots per vendor, allowing for two back-to-back or two separate - same and/or different topics. Vendorama cost is $250.00 per slot. Companies signed up for Vendorama will automatically be added to the Vendorama schedule (no pre-approval). If planning team has questions about the title, abstract or presentation provided by company, the team will reach out to the speaker and point of contact listed within the registration system.
The order in which registrations with Vendorama slots requests are received will be tracked and the 35 slots will be awarded on a "first come, first served" basis. However, there is no guarantee, implied or otherwise as to any Vendor's specific time slot(s).
A Board of Director's member will manage presenters and presentation times in each room. Presentations times are strictly enforced. Additional staff are welcome to be in the room but must be identified. Vendors are allowed to enter the room for their presentations and should remain outside of room until called in by the Board member.
Vendorama Instructions
1. Laptops will be available for your technical presentation.
2. Bring a thumb drive (memory stick) of your presentation. Please do not ask to use your own laptop or tablet as an alternative; this disrupts the timely transition from one Vendor to another.
3. All presentations must be technical content. NO sales presentations! The Board of Directors will review and approve all abstracts and presentations. All abstracts must be received no later than January 7, 2022 and all presentations must be received by February 4, 2022. If no abstract/presentation has been provided by February 4, 2022 and there is a "Wait List" for the Vendorama you will be at risk of cancellation of your Vendorama slot.
4. Your abstract will be uploaded to the 501F Users website, as will your presentation unless we are specifically otherwise instructed.
5. Plan on the Board of Directors managing the time actively and honor their requests for closure of the session.
6. Please vacate the room promptly (with your entourage) out of respect for the users and the next vendor.
7. Please do NOT enter the room until you are asked by a board member.
8. Vendors are not allowed to be in room for another Vendor's presentation unless specifically requested of and approved by the presenting Vendor and acknowledged by a Board member.
