Join us live and in person for the 9th annual Jefferson Infertility Counseling conference for ART mental health and allied professionals at all levels of experience. Designed to be innovative and highly interactive, cutting-edge expert lectures are interwoven with small group learning sessions, patient panels, and multiple networking opportunities to enhance targeted learning. Overall Conference Objectives:
At the conclusion, participants should be able to:
Summarize male reproductive health policies and issues for donors and recipients
Recognize racial disparities amongst, and deepen cultural competency in working with ethnically diverse populations in infertility settings
Review evolving perspectives of donor conceived adults
Identify professional perspectives in counseling surrogacy participants
Describe current telehealth services’ challenges, approaches, and risks in reproductive medicine mental health counseling
Summarize evidence-based steps and processes for conducting Third party psych evaluations
Utilize state of the art psychosocial and behavioral assessment and treatment approaches for infertile individuals and couples
COVID ATTENDANCE POLICIES:
In an effort to hold the 9th annual Jefferson conference in-person, we are implementing the following requirements for attendance:
Attendees must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination, including any CDC recommended boosters.
Should CDC or other relevant guidelines change prior to the conference, the Jefferson Infertility Conference will follow any updated guidelines.
As of January 3, 2022, The City of Philadelphia has passed a mandate that all restaurants request proof of vaccination before a person can enter the establishment.
Attendance at the Jefferson conference is voluntary, and attendees understand there is some risk in attending in-person, indoor meetings, and the conference coordinators cannot ensure the status of hotel, restaurant, or conference center staff or others. By choosing to attend the Jefferson conference, attendees waive any claims against, and agree to hold harmless, the conference coordinators and Jefferson University in the event of subsequent illness.
