This webinar will provide a more in-depth overview of blood cancers. Pertinent information to be discussed will include the role of genomics and molecular profiling in the diagnosis, prognostication, treatment, and monitoring of patients with hematologic malignancies. The program will also explore the various treatment modalities available for blood cancer patients including clinical trials. Discussion of the psychosocial impact of the disease with the inclusion of resources for patient and caregiver education and support will be provided to aid the multidisciplinary healthcare team in providing relevant, scientific, and holistic care to the blood cancer patient and caregiver.
This accredited CE activity is intended for social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with hematologic malignancies. Course content level for social workers: intermediate and advanced.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
