Technology Overview

Augmented Displacement Ventilation Cooling system uses the stratified vortex ventilation technology to move cool at the floor area to provide better comfort to the occupants while reducing energy cooling energy. The system helps to provide the chill-factor effect due to the cooler vortex air being generated by the vortex ventilator. Cooling is thus confined to the vortex saving energy by not having to cool the upper part of the room. The system can be applied to all indoor air-conditioning buildings. We are looking for partners to deploy this technology as a solution to mitigate global warming by reducing air-conditioning energy consumption which currently make up 60% of energy consumed by buildings.

The innovation is the stratified vortex airflow that helps to provide a better comfort with less energy. Unlike the present Passive Displacement Ventilation, Augmented Displacement Ventilation is a dynamic closed-loop control system that provides better comfort with less energy. The closed-loop system uses Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to adjust the airflow and cooling energy to achieve the necessary cooling comfort following the Ashrae standard.
