OVERVIEW

Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic, immune-mediated, upper digestive disorder marked by infiltration of eosinophils into the esophagus with resultant inflammation. Lengthy diagnostic delays are common, which can result in chronic dysphagia, food impactions and, eventually, esophageal narrowing and strictures. This live symposium will feature a quickfire Q&A style discussion on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and evidence-based management of EoE. There will also be case-based discussions to put clinical data into real-world context in order to help clinicians manage complex cases of EoE in their practices.
