Q:        How do I book my flight and get re-imbursed?

A:        Please book your flight to TVC, Cherryland Capital Airport in Traverse City, MI. High Street will not be reimbursing attendees for travel costs. Attendees should book and pay for travel with their agency resources, and High Street will document these costs and remove them from the earnout calculation. You can fill out this form pre and post meeting for airport parking and expenses while traveling home. Each attendee will need to log their travel expenses here. All expenses must be submitted no later than 30 days following the event.

Q:       When and where is the Presidents Classic 2021?

A:        The Presidents Classic takes place on Tuesday, October 19- Thursday, October 21, 2021 in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

Q:       Who is invited?

A:        The President of the company and one top team associate are invited to attend this event.

A:        Curious what High Street’s plan for 2022 and beyond entails? Wondering how your firm fits in? We will cover how you can benefit from all High Street has to offer while having some fun, enjoying beautiful Northern Michigan, delectable food and great company.

  Q:       How do I tell you what flight I’m on?

  A:        You can tell us one of three ways. 

1. You can submit your flight information when you register.
2. You can use submit your receipt with flight information on this form when you submit your expenses.
3. You can email your flight information to Meg@EventsNorth.com.

 Q:       What time should I arrive?

 A:        Plan to arrive in Traverse City between noon and 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 19^th. You may arrive earlier or later if needed.

Q:       What if I need to arrive the night before?

A:        We understand that some will have to travel farther than others.  If you need to arrive on Monday, October 18^th, we will book a room for you.

Q:        How do I book my hotel room?

A:        Your hotel room will be booked for you.  Based on your arrival date, we will book your hotel room for you.

Q:       Can I bring my significant other?

A:        Significant others are welcome to travel with you.  For all scheduled portions of this meeting, only Presidents and their top team associate will be allowed to attend. All significant other's meals, activities and travel expenses are on own and the responsibility of the attendee. 

Q:        How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

A:        Upon sending your flight information, a vehicle or shuttle will pick you up from the Traverse City airport and transfer you to the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Transportation will be provided from the hotel for departures as well based on your flight time.

Q:        What about COVID-19?

A:        We will follow all current CDC and local health department guidelines at the time of the event. 

Q:        Is there a dress code?

A:        Dress code for the entire event is business casual.

Q:        What is the average weather temperature in October in Northern Michigan?

A:        The weather temperature average ranges generally between the 50s and 60s in mid-October.

Q:        What can I expect to pay for?

A:        Any purchases at the hotel are your responsibility and must be paid for before check-out. Please stop at the front desk to provide a credit card number if you use your hotel room number for any incidentals.  

Q:        What if I need to cancel?

A:        We understand that emergencies happen.  Please email Meg@EventsNorth.com if you need to cancel.

Q:        I understand we can select from golf, spa or downtown shopping, what do I need to prepare for in terms of these options?           

A:        If you are golfing, you are welcome to bring your own clubs or select the option to rent when registering. If you opt for the spa, you will have an opportunity to select a gender preference if you so wish. If you select to shop, a shuttle will transfer you to and from downtown Traverse City. More detailed instructions will be provided closer to the event.
