Important Travel Information

To ensure your travel to Los Cabos is a hassle-free experience, when passing through international borders, please have the following forms completed upon your arrival:

  • Valid passport, which must be valid at least six (6) months after your scheduled return travel date
  • Official Entry Immigration Form (link to online form below)
  • Customs declaration card (provided by airline staff)

Upon arrival, you must keep the Immigration Card given to you. Visitors are advised to keep it with their passports, as you will be required to present it to an Immigration Officer upon your departure.

Official Entry Immigration Form Details

It is not guaranteed that airlines will provide the Official Entry Immigration Form on the plane. It is highly recommended you complete your form(s) online now, so you do not delay your immigration process when you arrive in Mexico. Click the link below to fill out your form(s).

Official Entry Immigration Form

ALL foreign citizens traveling to Mexico MUST fill out an Official Entry Immigration Form prior to their arrival in Mexico. Be sure to print the completed form on one piece of paper, double-sided. If you do not wish to complete the form prior to traveling, you will need to complete the form at the airport once you arrive in Los Cabos.

Passport Information

U.S Citizens must have a valid passport. It is required that your passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your scheduled return travel date, which is October 2022. Your airline ticket MUST match exactly the name on your passport. Please visit the following sites for more information on applying for a new passport or renewing a passport. Please apply for your passport as soon as possible, as the process can take up to 18 weeks to receive or renew your passport.

If this is the first time you are applying for a passport, you MUST have a certified copy of your birth certificate. It MUST have the official raised seal of the city, county, or state where issued or printed on security paper with a watermark. If you do not have a certified birth certificate copy, telephone the government records center of the state where you were born for instructions on how to obtain one. In most states, birth certificates are available online for a fee.

Many countries require sufficient space in your passport for Immigration Officials to validate your arrival and departure with a stamp. Having two blank pages in your passport at all times is recommended.

It is your sole responsibility to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary. No compensation will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Travel Advisory

Due to the global COVID-19 disease outbreak, the CDC recommends that any person who is considered "high-risk" for contracting the virus, avoid traveling to an area where the COVID-19 virus is ongoing. Please visit the CDC website or the U.S. Embassy website for the most current information regarding travel notices specific to Mexico. These pages are updated frequently based on the status of the virus containment in Mexico.

As of November 8, 2021

The CDC requires fully vaccinated passengers, regardless of citizenship, to show a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test taken no more than three days before they board their flight to the United States. For passengers who are not fully vaccinated, the rules will tighten to require a test taken no more than one day before departing to the United States. Airlines must deny boarding passengers who do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery.

* If you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., your positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before your flight's departure from a foreign country and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel).

The CARS President's Club Team is closely monitoring this requirement and will update this site with any changes as they become available. Testing will be available for all attendees and guests at the hotel at no additional cost.

If you have any specific questions or concerns regarding your travel to Mexico, please contact the President's Club Headquarters at info@carspresidentsclub.com or +1 (972) 661-6421.
