EVENT DETAILS
Multiple myeloma is preceded by two precursor states known as monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) and smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM). The field of precursor conditions of myeloma is evolving; trials are now investigating the potential for identifying and treating high-risk patients who could benefit from therapeutic intervention that may ultimately delay or even prevent their progression to myeloma.
During this event, our faculty will:
- Discuss the background on precursor conditions and who may have higher risk of progression to myeloma
- Describe the ongoing clinical trials in precursor conditions for high risk patients
- Explain early identification and monitoring
- Answer your submitted questions related to precursor conditions
