Christopher Lang, Owner/Director, Waterbeach Associates Limited
Chris is a highly experienced Business Director, with over 25 years’ experience in the education sectors. Currently he is COO and a Director of a private training company that works with leaders of professional services firms.
At the start of his career, after 6 years training in industry as a Management Accountant, Chris held senior financial roles at two Universities, before becoming a Director at two Further Education Colleges, being Director of Finance at Cambridge Regional College (CRC) for over 11 years. CRC had one of the largest college Apprenticeship provisions in the country.
Chris is now working in a portfolio of roles, all around Boards and Governance, and in both an Executive and a Non-Executive capacity. This has included being a Governor at a College, a Non-Executive Director at a company, a National Leader in Governance for the AoC, a subject matter expert for the AoC/ETF Governors Development Programme and also works for the Governance Institute (ICSA) as an Examiner and subject matter expert.
