OVERVIEW
Bipolar disorder is a serious and chronic psychiatric disorder associated with substantial symptomatology, morbidity, and an increased risk of premature mortality, owing to both, a predominance of bipolar depression, as well as, numerous medical comorbidities. GOAL STATEMENT
This activity was designed to improve the knowledge and competence of psychiatric advanced practice nurses with respect to the ready recognition and optimal treatment of adults with bipolar depression.
