Due to the increasing COVID-19 case rates from the Delta variant and restrictions on attendance being imposed by many organizations, we have made the difficult decision to transition the 2021 70th Annual Governors Industrial Safety and Health Conference to a virtual event. While we are extremely disappointed that we cannot meet in person again this year our priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of the people living and working in our state.
We plan to reopen registration for the restructured virtual Conference on September 8.
We are excited to be planning a return to an in-person Conference this year in beautiful Spokane with the training classes you expect, meeting with vendors in the exhibit hall, and being able to network with attendees and speakers. And don't miss seeing the annual Pole Top Rescue Competition.
In addition to the Keynote, attend any of the highly informative workshops for a a great learning experience.
Choose from in-person attendance, just a slate of pre-selected recorded sessions you can view starting October 1, or a best value package that includes both to double your learning opportunities.
Check out the Schedule for full session details.
An optional pre-Conference training session "Occupational Deaths of Despair: Scope of the Problem and Strategies for Prevention", presented by the UW Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety, will be available to attend either in-person or virtually.
