WELCOME!

Please join us for the 64th Annual T. Hart Baker, MD Women’s OB/GYN Virtual Symposium taking place on Friday, September 24, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. This year, we will be addressing how to optimize patient care and improve the outcomes in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology while dealing with the effects of Covid-19.
The program will highlight the following topics:

  • Infectious Disease:  How providers can become more confident in managing infectious diseases in pregnancy such as Covid-19 and sepsis
  • Morbidity and Mortality:  Discussing how implicit biases affects the treatment given to minority women
  • Breast Care:  Treatment and differentiating between benign and malignant breast disease
  • Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Pregnancy:  Distinguishing pelvic floor dysfunction from obstetrical causes such as pre-term labor

An expert panel will be featured where participants can ask questions specific to critical care related to cardiac arrest management, infectious illnesses and Covid.  It will be an exciting day of virtual learning and networking with colleagues from around the region.  For more detailed information on the agenda, click on the “agenda” tab above.
