Air

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to Alexandria and is only about 15 minutes from any of the hotels listed below. Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) and Dulles International Airport (IAD), which sometimes offer significantly lower fares, are approximately an hour drive from Alexandria. If you arrive from either of these airports, expect to make use of a shuttle service, taxi, rental car, or public transportation to reach your hotel.

Train

Amtrak has rail stations in Alexandria and Washington, D.C. For fares and schedules, please call 800-872-7245 or visit their website.

The MARC train runs from BWI into Washington, D.C.’s Union Station for less than $10 on Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., with limited service on weekends.
