How do I get started planning for my future?
When it comes to finances, many people don't know where to begin. That's why getting objective information is so important. One of the best ways to do this is in a workshop setting with a financial professional who can educate you and show you your next steps. Whether you are just starting or have been investing for many years but need to make changes, there is always more to learn.
How can I figure out how much money I will need in retirement?
It's hard to figure out how much you will need – especially if your retirement is years, or even decades away. However, a good guideline is this: every year, aim to replace 70-85% of your pre-retirement income.* Of course, this is number can vary significantly depending on one's personal choice or circumstances.

As a young person, how much should I be saving for retirement?
Save as much as you can! Everyone's monthly salary and financial commitments are different. Although a set dollar amount won't work for everyone, many financial experts recommend saving at least 10% to 15% of your income for retirement, starting in your 20s. Over time, you'll want to increase this amount.
Does the free one-on-one consultation help with other financial concerns, like saving for college, or is it just about retirement planning?
The consultation is your chance to get all your financial questions answered – not just those about retirement. It will also give you and the third party financial professional the opportunity to discuss your personal goals and develop a plan of action with the steps you need to achieve them.
What if I already have a financial professional?
A second opinion may identify and even help fix problems with your current strategy. It can also provide an outside perspective to verify you are doing everything just right - using the most effective methods to meet your goals.
How can be sure that the investment selections in my 401(k) are right for me?
We understand that the 401(k) investment explanations can be confusing for many, so you may want to seek the help of a financial professional who can walk you through the process. They can help review your investment choices and allocate your funds accordinly.
