(Virtual Roadshow Webinar)

APRIL 20TH,  2021 |  2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST

VIRTUAL TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY ROAD SHOW SPONSOR

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

A look into new pipeline construction and site investigations. This webinar will discuss techniques for microtunneling, horizontal directional drilling and trenchless site investigations.

The first presentation, “Long Distance Microtunnelling with Direct Pipe and E-Power Pipe” by Gerhard Lang from Herrenknecht, will discuss Direct Pipe that has initially been developed to complement the HDD technology for challenging river crossings.

Next, Mark Knight with Centre for Advancement of Trenchless Technologies will present “Site Investigation Requirements for Trenchless New Construction Pipeline Projects”. He will discuss how you can reduce your construction costs, construction delays and potential project liabilities by doing better site investigations before the project is tendered.

Last, Sam Ghosn from Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association will present “Horizontal Directional Drilling with Ductile Iron Pipe”. He will talk about the advantages of Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) over traditional open-cut construction methods.

Attendees are welcomed to participate in the Q&A session that will follow the presentations.

Who should attend?

Municipal engineers, technicians, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and anyone involved or interested in expanding their knowledge on microtunneling, trenchless pipeline projects and horizontal directional drilling. Attendees will learn from leading industry experts on the advantages, uses and implementation of various microtunneling, trenchless and HDD techniques.
