How do I start planning for my future?
Many people don't know where to begin when it comes to finances. That's why getting information is so important. One of the best ways to do this is to attend a workshop. Our specially trained financial professionals are here to educate and help you achieve your goals. Whether you are just starting or have been investing for many years but need to make changes, there is always more to learn.
How much should I be saving for retirement?
There's no dollar amount that's appropriate for everyone. But there is a common rule of thumb for a savings; which is to generally save 15% of your gross salary, ideally beginning in your 20s and 30s. It's important to save this amount consistently.
How can I figure out how much money I will need in retirement?
It's hard to figure out how much you will need, especially if your retirement is years or decades away.
But it may be helpful to compare your savings to benchmarks. A good rule of thumb suggests you aim to save:
1 x income by age 30
2 x income by age 35
3 x income by age 40
6 x income by age 50
8 x income by age 60
10 x income by age 67
For example, if you're 30 years old now and earning $55,000, your retirement accounts should have a total of $55,000 or more.

How can I be sure that the investment selections in my 401(k) are right for me?
We understand that the investment explanations can be confusing, so you may want to speak to a financial professional who can help you review your investment choices and allocate your funds accordingly.
Does the free personal consultation that can be requested help individuals learn about topics like saving for college, or is it just about retirement planning?
The consultation is your chance to get your financial wellness questions answered - not - just those about retirement. It will also give you the opportunity to discuss your goals and develop a plan of action.
What if I already have a financial professional?
A second opinion may identify and even help fix problems with your current strategy. It can also provide an outside perspective to verify you are doing everything just right.
