Upon arrival, you must retain the immigration card given to you. You are advised to keep your card with your travel documents, as you may be required to present it to an Immigration Officer upon your departure.
U.S. Citizens: You must have a valid passport. It is strongly encouraged that your passport be valid for at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date. Your airline ticket must match exactly with the name on your passport.
For more information on passports (applications, renewals, or adding pages), U.S. citizens may contact their local post office or visit the U.S. Department of State Website at www.travel.state.gov at your leisure. Please apply for your passport as soon as possible as the process can take up to 18 weeks to receive or renew your passport.
If this is the first time you are applying for a passport, you must have a certified copy of your birth certificate. It must have the official raised seal of the city, county, or state where issued or printed on security paper with a watermark. If you do not have a certified birth certificate copy, telephone the government records center of the state where you were born for instructions on how to obtain one. In most states, birth certificates are available online for a fee.
Many countries require sufficient space in your passport for immigration officials to validate your arrival and departure with a stamp. Having two blank pages in your passport at all times is recommended.
It is your sole responsibility to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary. No compensation will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Effective December 6, 2021
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a new Order for all air passengers traveling to the United States. Starting on December 6, air travelers ages two and older, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, are required to show documentation of a negative viral test result taken within one day of the flight's departure to the United States before boarding. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight. That includes all travelers - U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (LPRs), and foreign nationals.
For additional information, please visit our FAQs for answers to questions about the requirement for proof of negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving in the United States.

International travel poses additional risks, and even fully vaccinated travelers might be at increased risk for getting and possibly spreading some COVID-19 variants.
