AISA's Professional Learning Design Team has constructed a variety of learning experiences to maximize the use of your time at the conference. Deep Dives for in-depth learning to affect change at school, Discovery Workshops to dip your toes into something new, Innovative Practice Workshops to explore good practice in AISA schools, Learning Partner Present Workshops to see how our Associate Members can support your work in teaching, learning and leading, Yoga and Mindfulness Classes for your health and wellbeing. The AISA Conference is designed with you in mind.

2019 is a very special year as AISA turns 50! The AISA 2019 Conference is a celebration of the learning that has taken place through the years, "Learning from the Past, Shaping the Future”. The climax of the conference, the 50th Anniversary AISA Gala Dinner on Friday 22nd November 2019 will not only be a beautiful walk down memory lane but also a night of glitz and laughter...and not to be missed!

While you're in Cape Town, you can visit the American International School of Cape Town (AISCT), the shops and restaurants on the Waterfront, explore the wineries, see the whales at Hermanus, climb Table Mountain or drive to the Cape of Good Hope.

Buffalo State, State University of New York (SUNY), offers the option of graduate credit for all AISA Conferences and Professional Learning Institutes (PLIs). The credits for professional development are regular graduate semester credits.
