Subsurface Utility Engineering: Current Practices for Better Projects
(Virtual Roadshow Webinar)
FEBRUARY 25TH, 2021 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST
VIRTUAL TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY ROAD SHOW SPONSOR
Modern cities’ right-of-ways (ROWs) are crowded with water, sewer, telecommunication, and power cables - critical infrastructure for the operation of our communities. Infrastructure projects have been increasing in size and complexity over the years, and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) practices help utility owners and contractors to decrease project risks and protect assets. This webinar will discuss important SUE guidelines and tools.
The first presentation, “UESI Updates on the ASCE 38 and SUE for Municipalities Recent Release” by Lawrence Arcand from 4Sight Utility Engineers, will go over the recent ASCE 38 updates and important Utility Coordination best practices
.
Jamie Bradburn, from T2 Utility Engineers, will present “MCGPR and its Applications”. He will examine the 3D imaging of high-density Multi-Channel Ground Penetrating Radar technique and discuss how it can produce a plan image of what is buried beneath a survey area.
Attendees are welcomed to participate in the Q&A session that will follow the presentations.
Who should attend?
Municipal engineers, technicians, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and anyone involved or interested in expanding their knowledge on subsurface utility engineering. Attendees will learn from leading industry experts on state-of-the art SUE practices and applications.
