Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is a hybrid conference?

    • A hybrid conference combines preconference workshops as “in-person” with a “virtual” conference. For the workshops you actually need to be in a location in Albuquerque to participate, while to attend the virtual presentations you can be anywhere in New Mexico as long as you have an internet connection.

  • How do I register?

    • You can register on our conference website located here [add hyperlink]. Registration provides you with access to the conference material on March 6th, the day of the virtual conference as well as continued access to all conference recordings and digital materials for one calendar year.

  • Will there be an exhibitor area?

    • Yes, we are working with our virtual conference platform as well as our sponsorship partners to ensure that there will be an virtual exhibitor area that can be browsed to engage with your favorite early education organizations and suppliers. Access to this area is included with your registration.

  • What if I want to present at the conference?

    • That’s great! We are always looking for presenters. Please follow this link to get to our presentation submission in English or this one for Spanish. NMAEYC will choose and notify presenters by the end of calendar 2020 if their presentation has been accepted for inclusion and NMAEYC will offer workshops and presenter assistance ahead of the conference to make sure all presenters are comfortable with our digital conference platform.
