What technology do I need to attend this event?

For the best experience, we suggest using a desktop or laptop computer. You may also watch from your mobile device. Ensure you have access to video camera and a microphone in order to participate in Q& As, breakouts and the unconference. 

Do I need a webcam for this event?

You don't need a webcam, you can use the video camera on your laptop or mobile device.

What should I do before the start of the virtual conference?

If you have been participating in webinars and interacting online with no technical issues, you have enough bandwidth for this conference.  If you are unsure, you can check your bandwidth with https://www.speedcheck.org/. The recommend internet speed is at least:

  • Receiving 1080p HD video requires 2.5mbps (up/down)
  • Sending 1080p HD video requires 3.0 Mbps (up/down)

Do I need a zoom account to join?

No, you don’t need a Zoom account to join. Just register and enjoy.

Who do I contact for technical help if I have access problems?

We are contracting an AV company who will be providing help immediately before and during the summit to anyone needing support to access the platform and sessions. Closer to the time of the summit we will share this phone number and email address.
