Building Digital Skills Resilience

OVERVIEW

Developing a can do attitude and approach to being confident with technology

Essential Digital Skills is now recognised as one of the most important life skills for people to be fully effective and confident, and has become part of the legal entitlement from August 2020. Resilience is a key aspect of a positive attitude towards using technology confidently. The overall level of digital ability in the working and adult population is worryingly poor and this is being recognised as negatively impacting on general well-being. Digital skills resilience can be developed with the right approaches. The foundation requirements for the Essential Digital Skills qualifications are also going to form the basis of the Functional ICT, when updated in the coming months.

This webinar will consider the core aspects of resilience and the requirements of the new Essential Digital Skills qualifications and review the benefits to individuals and organisations in understanding and developing digitally resilient and confident learners.
