Preparing your apprentice for end-point assessment

OVERVIEW

Exploring methods to effectively prepare an apprentice for end-point assessment.

In September 2020 the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education published the Apprentice Panel Survey Report. The survey showed that only 41% of respondents were satisfied that they understood what would be required of them in their EPA.

The report recommends that “Adequate preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA) should be defined and made compulsory in the delivery of apprenticeship standards”

During this session, Jacqui Molkenthin will share with AELP members hints, tips and methods to prepare apprentices for end-point assessment, ensuring the best possible journey into, and through, end-point assessment.
