Following the publication of the government’s Plan for Jobs which included a £111 million investment to triple the number of traineeships available, the ESFA are planning a procurement opportunity so providers can access more funding to deliver traineeships.
They will be looking for providers with the capacity to start providing high-quality traineeships quickly from February through a ring-fenced contract for service, with £65m initially available in the first 6 months of what is planned to be a longer 2 ½ year overall contract, running until July 2023.
