OVERVIEW

Supporting the effective delivery of Functional Skills in mathematics – Level 1 and 2

Maths is an essential life subject that is a challenge for many; approaching delivery in a different way can achieve a positive shift in results and mindset.

The Functional Skills mathematics requirements under the new reforms are more challenging and somewhat different in their assessment expectations. These changes are essential for Functional Skills in mathematics to remain in line with the GCSE curriculum and therefore need to be positively embraced.

This webinar will help to understand some of the key challenges and different approaches that are needed to allow learners to be successful in the attainment of the necessary knowledge and skills needed to achieve a pass.
