TOOLS AND FLUIDS FOR UNDERGROUND SUCCESS WEBINAR
July 22nd, 2020 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is one of the trenchless technologies used for the installation of buried infrastructures such as water and sewer lines, gas lines, and telecom and power cable conduits and offers significant environmental and social advantages with minimal surface disturbance. A successful HDD project depends on consideration of important geotechnical factors, accurate bore path design, and selection of proper drilling fluid and equipment such as drilling rigs, rims, and fluid pumps.
This webinar will review unique HDD projects where novel add-on technologies and design reconsiderations were applied to address constructability concerns and to solve complex problems.
Municipal engineers, technicians, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and anyone involved or interested in learning more about the challenges in design and installation of underground pipelines and conduits using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology. Attendees will learn from leading international and national industry experts on state-of-the art construction processes, design, and risk mitigation in HDD case projects.
