What about COVID-19?
- First and foremost the members of COPA should be aware that both of the owners of Hacienda de los Santos were 'California Food Service Licensed Instructors' with their chain of stores in California. Food handling procedures have been first and foremost with their restaurants in Mexico.
- Due to Covid-19 we are taking additional safety measures, in line with many restaurants in the USA, including, utilizing hand sanitizers at all waiters stations, having hand sanitizers available in the Reception area, both restaurants, the Spa and the Cantina. All employees dealing with the public (Reception, Kitchen & Waiters) wear protective masks.
- Using sanitizing procedures for all restaurant and cantina tables after every use. Plus the cleaning of the floors with an anti-bacterial solution during the day.
- Table seating with 'Social Distancing' of a minimum of 6 feet in the public and restaurant areas. Also, offering multiple dining areas for those who want maximum distancing, including two patio areas, four indoor dining areas and a minimum of 6' spacing in the Cantina. Those guests who wish to sit in groups together may do so at their option.
- All guest rooms have additional sanitizing methods in place including using proper cleaning techniques with sanitizers on the telephone, TV control, door handles, bathroom surfaces and floors on a daily basis.
