On behalf of the IAG Conference Committee, I am delighted to extend an invitation to attend the IAG 2020 Annual Conference, to be held at the Sofitel Brisbane Central on Friday 13 November 2020.
The IAG Conference is an annual event exclusively for accounting, finance and governance professionals and the conference agenda is designed to inspire and inform, covering recent challenges and current trends in public sector finance.
The 2020 Conference will enable us to explore different ways of connecting with you to share knowledge and enhance skills. You will hear from our business leaders, industry experts and inspirational speakers, and be able to join the discussion on emerging issues and trends impacting the State's public sector.
You will be provided with opportunities to hear what impact COVID-19 has had on our work environments and how connecting with each other has been hindered and enhanced.
During the conference you are invited to join the plenary sessions, delivered across a variety of topics. Take the opportunity to network with your colleagues across government as well as our private sector sponsors during breaks, or take part in the social event after the conference.

Conference Venue Located in Turbot Street in Brisbane's CBD, Sofitel Brisbane Central is conveniently located above Central train station and a 10 minute walk from Queen Street Mall
Trade Exhibition IAG 2020 will again feature the trade exhibition open to delegates on arrival, during morning tea and afternoon tea and for a dedicated exhibition 45 minutes post lunch offering the opportunity for delegates to interact and network with our sponsors.
Networking All delegates and sponsors are invited to join the IAG Committee for Networking Drinks after the Conference. These will be held directly after the closing session, providing a dedicated time for attendees to socialise, interact and connect with colleagues .
Conference Seating Conference seating for sessions and lunch will be pre-allocated allowing for 4 attendees per (round) table in line with the venue's COVID safe practices. Attendees will be ask to submit allocation requests via the conference app approximately two weeks prior to the event.
