The webinar will focus on emerging good practice in the operational implementation of the Prevent Duty, with specific reference to the environmental challenges faced by training providers of all types, sizes & geographical coverage.

The session will include the following:

  • The importance of engaging senior leadership in the process & making essential links to supportive partners.
  • Prevent training – who should receive it, what should it include & what resources are available?
  • British Values – how important is it & how do I embed it with learners.

FE Skills providers that are defined as “specified authorities” & therefore subject to the statutory requirements of Section 26 of Counter-Terrorism & Security Act 2015 (the Prevent Statutory Duty).
