About the Native Links Golf Classic

The American Indian Science and Engineering Society invites you to the 4th Annual Native Links Golf Classic to be held on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at Las Vegas Pauite Golf Resort. World Golf Hall of Fame Inductee and Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Pete Dye, is the design force behind the three distinctive layouts found at this unique destination just 25 minutes northwest of the world famous Las Vegas Strip. 

All proceeds from the Native Links Golf Classic benefit the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. We welcome your support of In-Kind Donations which may include electronic merchandise, artwork, apparel, concert tickets, gift certificates, and golf equipment.

About AISES

The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.  Founded in 1977, with a rapidly expanding membership of more than 6,050 individual members, the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) sustains 198 chartered college and university chapters, 22 professional chapters, 3 tribal chapters, and 220 affiliated K-12 schools serving 55,000 + American Indian students. AISES has awarded over $14 million in academic scholarships to American Indian STEM students. Through scholarships and internships, workforce development and career resources, national and regional conferences, science fairs, leadership development and other programming, AISES is the undisputed leader in STEM opportunity in Indian Country. 

Individual Registration: $400

Covers green fees, carts, range balls, breakfast, lunch and gift bag for each participant.

Team Registration: $1,500 

Up to four participants and covers green fees, carts, range balls, breakfast, lunch and gift bag for each participant.

Prizes: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place, Longest Drive (Men/Women), Closest to the Pin (Men/Women), and Putting Contest

Mulligans: $10 each or a book of 5 for $40

Golf Club Set Rentals: $65 (All rental golf club sets are ordered through AISES registration site).

6:45 am - Shuttle from The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort (shuttle will be out front near valet) departing to Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

    Las Vegas Pauite Fast Facts

    • Las Vegas Pauite opened in 1995 with our first course Snow Mountain.  Sun Mountain followed in 1996 and with the WOLF course finally opening in 2001.
    • All 3 courses were designed by world renowned architect Pete Dye.  These are his only courses in Nevada.
    • Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort course elevation is on average 2,800 feet.
    • Putts break towards Las Vegas Strip
    • Fairways are Rye Grass while the greens are Bent grass with some Poa Annua.
    • We are one of the few courses in Las Vegas that doesn't require an overseed because of the type of grass we have does not go dormant, our elevation and our own water rights to a well.

    Golf Club Rules and Regulations

    1. Soft spikes are required.  No boots are allowed on the course.
       
    2. Dress code is strictly enforced; collared shirt required; no cut-offs, short shorts or tank tops.  NO denim.
       
    3. Golf carts are mandatory for all players.

    From Las Vegas Strip (22 miles):

    Take I-15 North past Charleston Rd exit. Take Exit #42A / Reno onto the US-95 North. Continue on US-95 past Summerlin Pkwy, and Durango exits. Take Exit #99 Snow Mountain and turn right. Continue on Snow Mountain Rd / Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd, leading directly into the Resort.

    From Downtown / Fremont St. (18 miles)

    Start on Fremont going south towards Casino Center Blvd. Turn left on N Casino Center Blvd. Turn right on Ogden Ave. Turn Left on N 4th St. Take ramp onto I-515 North. Becoming US-95 North, Continue on US-95 past Summerlin Pkwy, and Durango. Take Exit #99 Snow Mountain and turn right. Continue on Snow Mountain Rd / Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd, leading directly into the Resort.

    From McCarran International Airport. (30 miles)

    Take ramp onto Paradise Rd toward Rental Car Return/I-215/I-15/Las Vegas/Henderson. Take Las Vegas exit onto I-215 West toward Las Vegas/Los Angeles/Salt Lake City. Take Exit #12A/LasVegas onto I-15 North. Continue on I-15 past Charleston Rd exit. Take Exit #42A / Reno onto the US-95 North. Continue on US-95 past Summerlin Pkwy, and Durango. Take Exit #99 Snow Mountain and turn right. Continue on Snow Mountain Rd / Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd, leading directly into the Resort.

    From Summerlin (18 miles)

    Take Charleston Rd West towards the I-215 / CR-215. Bear right and take ramp onto I-215 / CR-215 North. Continue on CR-215 North becoming Bruce Woodbury Belt/CR-215 East. Take Exit #37 Durango Dr and turn left. Continue on Durango Dr past Elkhorn Rd. Bear left and take ramp onto US-95 North. Take Exit #99 Snow Mountain and turn right. Continue on Snow Mountain Rd / Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd, leading directly into the Resort.
