The annual Summer Research Conference (SRC) at UC San Diego will take place on August 17 and 18, 2023. This is the largest research conference open to undergraduates in all academic fields and backgrounds who are conducting faculty-mentored summer research in the San Diego region. Any undergraduate, as long as they fulfill the expectations mentioned above, is welcome to present at the 2023 SRC at UC San Diego.

*Presentation at the SRC is required for some UC San Diego Summer Research Program participants.

The conference registration fee of $75 is waived for panel moderators and volunteers. Faculty, staff, academic researchers, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate stuents are invited to register as moderators. 

Moderators: Thanks to all those who have registered to moderate panels at SRC. We are pleased to announce that we have moderators for all roundtable discussions. Therefore, the moderator registration portal has closed. If you would like to moderate a future URH conference, please contact the SRC Coordinator.

Volunteers: Thank you for volunteering to help with SRC. Registration will be open until Friday, August 11. The SRC Coordinator will reach out about your assigned time about a week before the conference.

Student Presenters: the registration deadline was Sunday, July 9. 

Attendees/guests and staff: the registration deadline was Tuesday, August 1.

Guest who have not pre-registered are still welcome to attend. We ask that all guests, regardless of registration status, check in at the reception desk in the Price Center West Ballroom. There is no registration fee for walk-in guests.

**Note that only pre-registered attendees are included in the meals provided at SRC. Guests who have not pre-registered may purchase food at the many restaurants in the Price Center.
