Finding your way through the emotional experience of childhood leukemia

Program

You are invited to learn more about the advancements in treatment for children with acute leukemia presented by Dr. Andrew Place. He will review principles for treating acute leukemia in children and young adults and explore approved and emerging therapies along with their side effects.

Additionally, Amy Grose, LICSW will discuss different emotional challenges that pediatric patients and their families face, including strategies to help cope with their illness.
