Program
Please join LLS and Dr. Craig Cole for a free virtual education program for patients and their families. Dr. Cole’s primary clinical and research interest is in Multiple Myeloma, and he has published and presented his research at several national hematology-focused meetings. Dr. Cole has a commitment to patient empowerment and education, volunteering with several local and national patient advocacy associations.
During this program, participants will gain a better understanding of Myeloma as it relates to race/ethnicity and its prevalence and diagnosis among Black Americans. Attendees will also learn about Myeloma staging, treatment options, and research, including new therapies in relapsed Myeloma and how important it is for people from all races and ethnicities to enroll in clinical trials.
In addition, participants will learn about the resources available in their community and those provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
