Program

Please join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for a free virtual education program for patients and their families. Participants will learn about the stress and anxiety associated with a cancer diagnosis and its impact on survivorship.

Participants will gain a better understanding about the effects of stress and anxiety as a result of a cancer diagnosis and how working through and acknowledging its effects can play a major role in achieving better adherence to therapy, better communication with their treatment team, and an overall reduction of anxiety levels.

We will also hear from best-selling author and cancer survivor, Judy Pearson, regarding the creation of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) as chronicled in her latest book, From Shadows to Life: A Biography of the Cancer Survivorship Movement. We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
