Program

Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is a common complication of allogeneic stem cell transplantation, a therapy which offers a potential cure for many patients with blood cancers. GVHD can be successfully managed in most cases with drugs or other interventions, but it remains a large problem. Dr. Egan will discuss the risks and signs of GVHD, as well as a potential treatment option.
