SIGN ME UP!
I am volunteering to be a session organizer for the upcoming AIM. I will reach out to the
technical community program chair
(TCPC) to let them know of my interest.
I understand what will be expected of me:
Create a new profile in the abstract submission portal before the end of December (link will be on the
AIM website
in October)
Attend or watch the recording of the training session for session organizers that is held in early January
To be available to review abstracts January - March
Create session descriptions, suggest committee sponsor and co-sponsors
Suggest session schedule options to TCPC
Assist the TCPC to find moderator and co-moderators to manage the sessions at AIM
Work with the moderator(s) to connect with the authors for notifications of acceptance and commitment to attendance in the session
Session organizers are not required to attend AIM.
Session moderators are the individuals that will be in the session room and are required to attend AIM.
A session organizer can also be the session moderator.
Each position is a volunteered role and cannot be remunerated.
