The Canadian Common Ground Alliance is pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 2026 CCGA Damage Prevention Symposium.
To be considered, please complete the submission process and include all relevant details. Submissions will open on Monday, May 25, 2026. Accepted presenters will be contacted by Friday, June 26, 2026 to confirm participation in the program.
All accepted presentations must be delivered in English.
We are seeking abstracts on the following topics and encourage submissions on any subject relevant to damage prevention:
Presentation Formats
Selected abstracts will be assigned to one of the following formats:
Breakout Session Presenters will have 30 minutes to present, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer period. Presenters will present from a podium and must bring in a laptop for their presentation. A projector will be provided. Presentations will be shared with conference participants following the event unless you, as the presenter, request that the presentation not be shared.
Panel Session Presenters may be invited to participate in a panel consisting of three presenters and one moderator. Panel sessions will take place in front of the full delegation. Each presenter will have a shorter time slot, after which the moderator will lead a facilitated discussion with all panellists. Presentations will be shared with conference participants following the event unless you, as the presenter, request that the presentation not be shared.
Presentation format is subject to the program committee.
Commercialism
All presentations must be educational and not constitute a sales pitch.
When presenting new technology, submissions must include a client or end user who has implemented the solution. The presentation should focus on real-world applications, including measurable outcomes and how the technology improved operations, particularly in enhancing safety.
Content should be objective, experience-based, and relevant to the broader industry.
