ASABE Meeting Endorsement or Sponsorship Application - ASABE Support for Meetings and Conferences

MEETING ENDORSEMENT OR SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION

Upon approval by the ASABE Meetings Council, ASABE will provide support for your submitted meeting, conference, or symposium. Approval is subject to content and timing. ASABE will not approve any event that conflicts with an existing ASABE conference or meeting.

After this application is submitted, allow at least three weeks for a decision to be made by the Meetings Council. The ASABE Meetings Department will contact you with the final decision. Please complete the following application and return to Jessica Bell, Bell@ASABE.org.

ENDORSEMENT:

ASABE will endorse meetings and conferences that have similar, overlapping, or allied interests with ASABE members. Submit applications a minimum of 4-6 months before the event.

What you get:

Your event is listed in our online calendar of events.
What we require:

The ASABE logo and a mention of our endorsement must appear on all print and electronic materials for the event.

This level of support provides no financial assistance.

SPONSORSHIP:

ASABE will sponsor events that align with our members' interests, vocations, research, products, or services. This level of support goes beyond a simple listing to actively promote your event. Submit applications a minimum of 6 months before the event.

What you get:

Your event is listed in our online calendar of events.

We will send targeted electronic communications to our members.

We will promote your event through our various meeting and event resources.
What we require:

The ASABE logo and a mention of our sponsorship must appear on all print and electronic materials for the event.

You are expected to promote ASABE's meetings, conferences, and membership information through a similar exchange of marketing. A list will be provided.

CO-SPONSORSHIP/PARTNERSHIP:

ASABE will co-sponsor or partner with organizations to create a joint event. This level involves a deeper collaboration and more significant exchange of resources. Submit applications a minimum of 1.5 years before the event.

Options for Co-Sponsorship:

Exchange of Services: We will co-sponsor an event by exchanging meeting and conference services in place of monetary support.

Joint Venture: We can partner to facilitate a joint conference or meeting, or parts of one. In this arrangement, ASABE will share the labor and a portion of the surplus revenue.

Full Facilitation: We can co-sponsor and facilitate the entire event, covering labor and overhead costs plus a 15% fee, and/or an equal share of the surplus, as determined by the Meetings Council.
What we require:

The ASABE logo and information listing must appear prominently on all print and electronic materials as a co-sponsor or partner.

A full exchange of marketing avenues is required for this level of partnership.
