Young Scholars Application
Thank you for your interest in the PATHS-UP Young Scholars (YS) Student Internship. The aim of this program is to help four (4) students gain experience in engineering research and scientific writing by taking part in hands-on innovative biomedical and behavioral research. Students will also build an academic community by networking with participants from The University of California at Los Angeles, Rice University, Florida International University, and Arizona State University during weekly workshops, discussions, meetings, and seminars. Interns are required to complete a research poster, present at the end-of-program research symposium (virtually), and assist their teachers in forming a PATHS-UP club at their home campus.
Space is limited, therefore, completing this application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Applications are due by April 5, 2024.
