Every day, members of our communities rise to the challenge.

From children, to parents, to caregivers, and businesses we have all had to step up and become leaders. We’ve faced challenges and pivoted to adapt and grow through our everchanging world due to unforeseen events that effect our daily lives. No action is too small together our impact is large.

Your actions deserve recognition and celebration. Our communities are the foundation of our society, and we stand stronger together.

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is proud to celebrate diverse communities and its members who exhibit collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurship in service across the nation.

As a result, we have created a new recognition platform for communities the PLTW Community Celebration Awards. The intent of the PLTW Community Celebration Awards are to recognize communities who have come together to care for each other in times of need.

Any member of the community (educator, caregiver, student, etc.) may nominate themselves and their community for this award. Below are some examples of exemplary action in communities nationwide.

Building, gathering, and/or providing supplies for those in need.
Sharing your knowledge, activities, and skills for students in the spring and summer.
Thanking your neighbors and essential workers.
Helping community members obtain necessary services by transporting food, medication, or basic supplies.
Sharing your voice to build knowledge of philanthropic efforts.
