Big Apple Awards Submissions 2012
Question: What is the submission deadline for the 2012 ISES Big Apple Awards?
The Submission deadline is Friday, May 4, 2012 at 5:00pm EDT.
Late entries will be accepted until Friday, May 18, 2012 at 5:00 pm EDT and charged an additional $50 fee.
Question: Who can enter the 2012 ISES Big Apple Awards? Do you have to be a member to enter?
Entries are open to any special event industry individual or company located in the New York Metropolitan area (New York, New Jersey or Connecticut). You do NOT need to be an ISES member to enter.
Submissions will be accepted from any individuals, companies, or nonprofit organizations involved in planning an event, including corporate event planners, independent planners, and event vendors. The entry form must include the person in charge of the event for the organization (company, association, or nonprofit) that hosted the event.
Question: What are the timing and geographic requirements to submit an event for an ISES Big Apple Award?
Qualifying events must have been held between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
ISES Members may submit events without regard to geographic boundaries.
Non-Members may submit events held within the New York Metropolitan area.
Question: Can you submit the same event for multiple categories?
Yes, applicants may submit the same event in multiple categories.
            A separate entry must be made for each submission.
            Please note that a separate fee applies.
Award winners will be determined by a group of esteemed professionals and special event leaders spanning the industry.
 
Question: When will finalists and winners be announced?
            Nominees will be announced June 6, 2012
            Winners will be announced at the 11th Annual Big Awards Gala on Wednesday June 27, 2012.

By submitting an event for consideration for the 11th Annual Big Apple Awards, applicants
   Certify that their submission is the product of their work and that all information provided to support their submission is accurate and truthful.
   Authorize the ISES New York Metro Chapter to publish any and all portions of their submission, including event images or video.
Submissions that fail to meet ANY requirement will be automatically disqualified.
Entry fees for disqualified submissions will not be refunded under any circumstances.
