Weapons of Mass Creation is a competitive celebration of our industry’s sustainable ideas, techniques, technologies and design.
Five
finalists will be selected and each finalist will have their submission
presented to the Green Cities 2014 audience in the final session of Day
2.
The finalists will be selected by our expert industry judging panel:

Alicia Maynard – Head of Sustainability Australia, Lend Lease
-
Trudy-Ann King – Director Market Development, Green Building Council of Australia
-
Ralph Horne – Director Research and Innovation, RMIT University
And the public, who’ll cast votes for their favourite innovations online.
The
winning submissions for Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice will be
named Most Innovative 2014 and will be featured in national publications
including the GBCA’s Green Building Voice and the Property Council’s
Property Australia eZine .
How to enter
All entries should provide a submission outlining their sustainable product or solution including:

Your contact details (please note that it is a condition of entry that you are a member of the GBCA and/or Property Council)
- A 300 word overview/summary of your submission’s response to the above criteria

A response to each of the following criteria (maximum of 500 words for each)

Innovation: How your entry is innovative, how it responds to a challenge faced by our industry and the market segment it is appropriate to;
- Adaptability: how your idea or technology can be adapted to respond to multiple challenges or situations and its longevity as a creative solution;

Functionality and performance: What benefits your idea, product or technology delivers, and how it has performed under testing conditions or in application;

Sustainability statement: How your submission benefits the environment or improves upon current alternatives, and how it can be used to maximise economic opportunity, productivity or social value.

A three minute video detailing your Weapon of Mass Creation – this will be used to promote your submission on the Green Cities website prior to the conference;
