Marta Martinez, Global Head of Video Sales, leads and oversees all sales and strategy efforts for one of the most exciting and profitable divisions of AOL. Tasked with the development of full service video solutions to meet advertiser and agency content and distribution needs online, Marta is playing an essential role in the company’s reincarnation as a global media brand. Prior to joining AOL, Martinez served dual roles as Senior Vice President Business Development & Operations and Chief Marketing Officer at MediaMath, where she led business development, marketing and strategic partnership initiatives, representing Fortune 500 brands and over 900 advertising and media agencies globally. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President Global Corporate Development at Havas Digital where she led the group’s executive and operational management in identifying and executing strategic development opportunities. Marta earned her MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and an MS in Business Administration from ESADE in Barcelona. When she’s not revolutionizing the world of online video advertising, Marta is a passionate women’s advocate, taking every opportunity she can to empower women to conquer social obstacles and stand out as leaders. Most notably, Marta is an involved board member of Step Up, an organization that motivates and guides high-risk teen girls across the country towards college educations and strong careers. In addition to her love of world travel, Marta likes to ski, bike and do yoga – although presumably not at the same time. She and her husband live in White Plains, NY with their two children.
