President, Customer Development
Todd is currently Senior Vice President of Customer Development for Unilever USA. This includes the responsibility for setting the strategic direction of the Customer Developmen Organization and business delivery of over $11B in revenue across all Unilever categories. Todd has a true passion for recruiting students and talent and serves as the sponsor of the Unilever Enactus recruiting pillar. In his last role, Todd was SVP of Unilever’s Skin Category in Europe and Russia responsible for category strategy, innovation development, communication, and M&A. This responsibility included leading market positions in skin cleansing, skin care, face care, men’s grooming, and baby care with trusted brands such as Dove, Axe, Vaseline, and Ponds. Todd has also served as VP General Manager of Unilever’s US Personal Care Business ($5B US), which is comprised of leading consumer brands including Dove, Suave, Axe, Caress, Lever 2000, Degree, Vaseline, Ponds, and Q-tips. He was also a member of Unilever’s North America Leadership Team. Over his career, Todd has held positions in Marketing, Sales, and Finance and has delivered an impressive track record of driving market development and sales growth. He played a key leadership role in the successful expansion of Dove from a personal wash brand to a personal care brand, leading extensions into Deodorant and Hair Care. He also helped to drive Axe to the #1 men’s care brand by leading the growth of body sprays and delivering extensions into Deodorant sticks, and shower gel. Todd serves on serveral industry boards including the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Industry Affairs. He also serves on the Foundation Board of the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Todd has a BS in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He also served in the United States Marine Corps. Todd is married to Ellen and has three daughters, Elizabeth, Madeline and Kathrine. He enjoyes adventure travel with his family, photography, running, and he is a novice craft homebrewer.
